The flower on this iconic Sophie Joanne ring is hand-carved from white opal by an expert artisan, using an age-old, wood-carving technique. White opal is believed to ground the emotional body and is excellent for alleviating worry and stress.
The ring is set with a brilliant-cut pink tourmaline. Tourmalines are all about recognizing the power you have to solve or deal with any problem in your life.
The shape of the flower was inspired by the works of Hilma af Klint (1862) and Andy Warhol (1928), resembling a forget-me-not.
This ring is handmade from 14-karat recycled gold in our Atelier in Amsterdam. All gemstones are natural and hand carved, therefore there may be a slight variation in color, shape, and weight of the product.

Tourmaline
Pink tourmaline ranges from pale, light pink to deep reddish-pink hues. When the pink shades are intense and slightly reddish, often it is called “rubellite”, the most valuable form of pink tourmaline. Found in mostly Brazil, Afghanistan, Madagascar, pink tourmaline is associated with love, compassion, and emotional healing.

This piece is made from recycled gold, which means the gold is reclaimed from previously owned jewellery, which is then melted and newly refined. This way we limit the impact of our production on our planet and its communities.

Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, we do not offer refunds at this time, but you are welcome to either return pieces for store credit or exchange pieces for an item of equal or lesser value within 7 days of purchase.
