Drawing inspiration from Andy Warhol's iconic 1964 flower series, the Island Flower is hand-carved in Germany from high-quality rhodochrosite. Rhodochrosite can boost self-esteem and confidence. It encourages a positive attitude towards oneself and helps to dispel feelings of inadequacy.
The pendant is set with a brilliant-cut pink apatite, Wearing apatite will enhance focus, clarity for concentration, intellect, acceptance and unconditional love.
This piece is handmade from 14-karat recycled gold in our Atelier in Amsterdam. All gemstones are natural and hand carved, therefore there may be a slight variation in color, shape, and weight of the product.

Rhodochrosite
Primarily recognized for its vibrant pink and red colors, which can range from pale rose to deep crimson. Rhodochrosite is most notable sourced in Argentine, in the Pilcopata region where it is often found in beautiful, banded formations. The gemstone is thought to alleviate stress and anxiety and is often associated with emotional healing and is believed to help release negative emotions.

This stone gets its name from the Greek word “apate,” meaning deceit, because it was often confused with other gemstones like peridot or beryl due to its varied appearance. Apatite is found in many parts of the world, but Brazil, Madagascar and Mexico are most famous for sourcing most vibrant apatite. Apatite is believed to be a stone of inspiration, promoting creativity and self-expression.

This piece is made from recycled gold, this means the gold is reclaimed from previously owned jewellery, which is then melted and newly refined. This way we limit the impact of our production on our planet and its communities.
