This single earring is hand-cast into a dewdrop shape in gold dangling on the lobe with a lotus-shaped chrysoprase. The chrysoprase lotus is hand-carved by an expert artisan, using an age-old, stone-carving technique. Chrysoprase traditionally symbolizes happiness, enterprise, and prudence.
The solid golden drop is adorned by a pear-shaped peridot, the stone of healing and love.
The lotus lends its fluid shape to the works of Jean Arp (1886) and Constantin Brancusi (1876). This flower is associated with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment.
This piece is handmade from 14-karat recycled gold in our Atelier in Amsterdam. All gemstones are natural and hand carved, therefore there may be a slight variation in color, shape, and weight of the product.
