Recycled Gold
This piece is made from recycled gold, this means the gold is reclaimed from previously owned jewellery, which is then melted and newly refined. This way we limit the impact of our production on our planet and its communities.

All our jewelry is handmade in our Amsterdam atelier. Most of our carvings are hand-carved in our atelier and in Germany. Above all else, we value our community most, our customers, the craftsmen that generously lend us their skill, and everyone else who is involved in this journey. We build lasting relationships, we act with kindness and respect, and value quality of life. All the craftsmen and artisans we work with are compensated fairly.
We only work with people who align with our values of sourcing and crafting and make sure these ethics are lived throughout our supply chain. Where possible we produce locally, but we also highly value our craftsmen who work from a distance. They possess skills that are rare to find and are often tied to remote communities. We take pride in that our collaborations have a direct positive impact on them and their community.
When we first started our business, we aimed to be transparent about our jewelry pricing by providing a price breakdown for each piece. However, due to the constant fluctuations in gold and gemstone prices, it has become challenging to keep detailed cost breakdowns updated on our website.

Once your order is complete, we will start creating your piece. Sometimes we have a little stock but mostly each design is made-to-order. If so please allow 3-5 weeks for us to create your unique Sophie Joanne piece. We will always contact you to inform you about the timeline.

Almost every piece is made-to-order. Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, we do not offer refunds at this time, but you are welcome to either return pieces for store credit or exchange pieces for an item of equal or lesser value within 7 days of purchase.
